About CTSR?

The Centre for Tribal Studies and Research (CTSR) has been established with the objective to have an all-inclusive view of the issues concerning tribal rights, the preservation and protection of their cultural heritage and traditional knowledge. The centre is involved in the study and research related to tribal law and related issues focusing on the implementation of Government of India/State Governments’ schemes for tribals and evaluation of such schemes with the collaboration of NGOs, CBOs, government bodies, publications and organization of seminars/conferences/training programmes in areas of education, economy, resettlement and rehabilitation, forest rights, customary laws and tribal criminal justice system
